BEWARE of Tammy Gilchrist and her associates!  Tammy does not deliver the puppy she sells.  If you're lucky enough to recieve it, it usually is sick, or dies, or has to be euthanized!  Some of her dogs have had parvo!!  She doen't give the medical care she says she does.  If you pay for papers too, you'll probably won't receive them.  Just check her name out under Google Search.  You'll get a load of valuable information on her unethical business practices.  A lot of naive people, including me were ripped off by her and her associate Julie.  Her ads show different addresses such as:  Brazil, In, Cloverdale, IN, Coatesville, IN, just to name a few.  She goes under a number of different names and business names.  FOR YOUR PROTECTION CHECK UNDER GOOGLE.  TYPE IN TAMMY GILCHRIST AND SEE BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK ABOUT PURCHASEING A PUPPY OR KITTEN FROM HER!!!!!!!!

I can vouch that this is true.  I was a sucker and purchased a puppy from her and it died a few days later.

I also bought a puppy from Tammy.  Although I was close enough to pick him up.  We took him to the vet almost immediately to get the rest of his shots.  The vet fully examined him, said he was healthy.  We've had him now for over a month.  What sort of stuff could these puppies have, and what are some signs to look out for, and he's got another vet appointment for another shot in 2 weeks.. Is there anything I should tell them do look for that they wouldn't be able to tell from a regular exam?  Sorry if this doesn't make sense, I'm terrified now after reading all of this stuff from where I adopted him at/and sleepy  :P.  Also, the date that he was born was marked as 4/26/06, but they said he was only 7 weeks when we got him? How is that possible, so I called them the next week and they said he was 8 weeks on that saturday, is there a way the vet can tell the approximate age of the puppy?  But overall he seems fine, maybe I was a lucky one, and he isn't sick at all.  I'm just scared now after reading all of this stuff about these puppies dying.. Please reply soon.  Email = piink_bella3@yahoo.com or reply under this post, thanks.

I purchased a dog from her three months ago took it back 2 days later because he wouldn't do anything but lay down and sleep. Then she started promising me a new dog two months ago. and since then I have not recieved a dog and of course she has not replaced my money. She told me that there was a new litter and once one was ready she would let me know. I called her at least once every couple weeks and she kept saying they werent ready yet. Now of course she doesn't even get yorkies on a regular basis so she tells me to just keep checking the website and hopefully one will show up. but she won't refund my money and will only give me so much as a CREDIT... towards another dog if she ever gets more.  please reply with helpful information.

Hothead, you need to check out the forum on Chazhound.com.  Go to "Has anyone heard of Teks Kennel in Cloverdale."  There is a wealth of information on that thread.  If it doesn't help you you will at least get support there. Believe me I understand how you feel.  Check it out!  Good luck!

Gilchrist is at it again. She is using many aliases, many pre-paid cell phone numbers she frequently changes. I bought a pup infected with Parvo in Aug. 2008. It took almost 2 mos. working with authorities to discover her identity. She is selling on-line & in many publications nationwide. I was a lucky one. At GREAT expense, my vet was able to save my puppy. Aliases used in my situation were: Dottie, Angie, Ernest Woods. BEWARE!
