(Okay, so unfortunately a lot of people out there don't know about scams,
and it IS important to pay attention to the warnings...however, I generally
find it pretty easy to not do the stuff that yahoo is warning about...what's
actually a much easier pitfall to fall into, in some cases, is that the pet you
buy IN PERSON can turn out to have physical and/or behavioral problems
that the owner didn't tell you about and/or that the owner honestly didn't
notice...and if you and the owner BOTH don't notice that anything is wrong
until you are already getting attached to the pet, it can be too late to do
much about it by then. Oh, well. Life happens, deal with it, try not to step
in the you-know-what any more often than you can help...etc.! ^_~)
