I think there are a lot of honest people posting ads for puppies for sale.  I don't agree that you should wait to have the puppy in your hands before paying for him/her.  If you ordered something from Walmart or JC Penny's online, they would never mail you something and when you receive it say, OK now send me my money.  Get real!!  There are scammers too, but if you take precautions DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!  There are honest people selling puppies.  BEFORE SENDING MONEY TO ANYONE FOR ANYTHING...

1..  ALWAYS no matter what you are buying, have the selling take a new picture with a written phrase or unique word (that you choose) on a piece of paper with the object you are buying. If they won't do that, they are not honest.
2..Ask for their vet's phone number to call for a reference.
3..Google their vet to make sure it is truly a vet's office!
4..Google the breeder's name.
5..I do not release names and phone numbers to my past customers but do post their letters and pics on our website for references.
6..Make sure the seller is "verified" with the website they are advertising on.

IRONICALLY, I happened to choose the one dishonest person on this site.  & DID MY HOMEWORK, SCAMMERS ARE SUPER DUPER CON ARTISTS W/ ALL THE ANSWERS!!
1.. I got my specific pictures!!
2.. I got the vet's number, got the reference but guess what, NOW that number is disconnected.
3.. The vet HAD a website.
4.. Did that, nothing at the time!
5.. Yeah, got that too, pictures, phone numbers, blah, blah - ALL FAKE!
6.. Didn't do that, but the seller also had a website w/ pictures, etc - FAKE!
I realize that receiving the merchandise then paying is a stretch but WalMart & JcPenney have established company's, ship things everyday & have verification processes that the items are indeed shipped & received.  Have you ever heard of COD??
I own my own business, I do the service & then the customer pays every single time!  I order products for them & then they pay when they receive it!  I go to the gas station, pump my gas & then I pay!!  I eat in a restaurant & then I pay!!  I use my electricity & then I pay, use the water & then i pay, use my cell phone & then I pay!!  I just stayed in a hotel & GUESS WHAT, I paid AFTER I STAYED THERE FOR 3 DAYS!!  THAT'S REAL!!
ALL I CAN SAY IS I AM AN HONEST PERSON & ASKED 500 QUESTIONS, SPOKE ON THE PHONE, SPENT HOURS & HOURS COMMUNICATING, VERIFYING, BLAH BLAH BLAH - SCAMMED!!
& I have tons of information, their paypal account ("verified"), banking account ("verified"), etc. but NO INFO WILL BE RELEASED TO ME & NO ONE OUT THERE CARES ABOUT ANYONE BUT THEMSELVES!!
Sorry that you're offended but.......U can thank "TERRY WINES DBA GALORE OF BABIES" of Sealy, Texas & DOMESTICSALE.COM for not VERIFYING their ad placers for my extreme anger!!  Oh & her ads on here have conveniently also disappeared!!  Amazing!!!
Do not attack me because I have done nothing wrong!  I AM THE HONEST PERSON HERE!
Is it possible that you are afraid you would send your puppy & not receive your money???  I'm sure that would NEVER happen to you because u would DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!

I've had a lot of success with posting my puppies on domesticale. I've sold a lot of them on the site! I would suggest with as many puppy scams as there are these days to ask for references and CALL them before you SEND ANY MONEY. Don't press the checkout button on domesticale.com until you've spoke with the breeder, called his/her references and vet. I would not pay for a dog until I've talked with other's who've purchased from that person. If that person is a quality breeder than he/she won't mind you speaking to his/her vet. Very important. Many people have been scammed online, but more people have purchased their puppy successfully. Buying a puppy online can be a very exciting experience, and checking references, speaking with the breeder's vet...will help!!!
